Japan Atlas welcomes feedback that makes the site more accurate and more useful. If a guide gets something wrong, misses a change, or leaves a real question unanswered, that’s worth hearing about.
Editorial corrections
If you notice something incorrect while reading, that is worth reporting. Useful corrections include:
- Factual mistakes — a wrong name, date, fare, or detail
- Outdated information — anything that no longer matches current conditions
- Transport changes — new routes, discontinued lines, station renovations, or schedule shifts
- Venue closures — a place that no longer operates as described
- Broken links — internal or external links that no longer go where they should
A short note with the page and what changed is enough to act on.
General enquiries
General travel or editorial questions are welcome too — about how a guide was researched, why an area or place was covered a certain way, or something related to Japan Atlas itself.
This is not a personal trip-planning service. Japan Atlas cannot build individual itineraries or answer day-by-day planning questions, but the guides are written to help with exactly that kind of decision on your own.

Response expectations
Every message is read. Not every message receives an individual reply — genuine corrections and clear, specific notes are the most likely to get one, and the most likely to lead to an actual update on the site.
Privacy
Anything sent by email is used only to respond to you or to improve the site — for example, correcting a page based on what you reported. It is not shared with third parties or used for marketing.
